The Joyful Being Project
The Joyful Being Project creates pathways primarily focused on African Americans to access health and wellness services that are culturally-sensitive to the “slow healing and grievous wounds” that historical and contemporary racism has inflicted on them.
Take PART
The Portland Anti-Racism Team (PART) works to end racism in Portland, Oregon. The mission of Take PART is to confront racism and to engage in dismantling the systems that continue racial inequality. We do this through events, education and outreach that foster engagement in building an inclusive community where all people are treated with dignity and respect.
The ROSES Project
Partially funded by the City of Portland through AHAD, The Roses Project was an after school reading and literacy program supporting the Hmong Community in North Portland.
